Netflix’s strike series Monster follows the depraved life and crimes of notorious American serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer.
But a leading journalist who interviewed the assassin soon after he was arrested has warned viewers not to believe that all the things they see on monitor.
Emmy-winning producer Nancy Glass, who interviewed the ‘Milwaukee Monster’ in 1993 for CNN’s Within Edition, spoke to Australian radio exhibit Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday about her time with the assassin, and how his fictionalised portrayal stands up towards the specifics.

Glenda Cleveland wasn’t Jeffrey’s neighbour
Ms Glass exposed the show’s storyline about Dahmer’s neighbour Glenda Cleveland was also fictional.
